Watch the actual video of the Raymart Santiago, Claudine Barreto vs Ramon Tulfo brawl below:

Medyo matagal tagal din akong hindi nakapanood ng TV dahil sa kabisihan ko.

Pero kahapon free time ako kaya nanuod muna ako ng TV at saktong sakto Showbiz Central. Laking gulat ko nalang nang binalita na si Raymart Santiago at Mon Tulfo ay na suntukan sa NAIA Terminal parang hindi ka pani paniwala talaga na nagagawa nila yon lalo na sa loob ng NAIA Terminal 3.

RE-POST

Columnist Ramon “Mon” Tulfo and couple Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barreto got into a fight at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 on Sunday.

According to an interview with the DZMM, Tulfo approached the scene and tried to calm down the actress shouting and cursing at a ground stewardess after she found out that her luggage was left. However, when she was already threatening the stewardess, the she will get her fired, Tulfo attempted to take pictures.

When Santiago saw him taking pictures of the scene, he tried to grab Tulfo’s cellphone, which started the fight. He further added that he just defended himself.

In a separate interview with Claudine Barreto, she said she was just complaining due to a left baggage in Aklan, and to their surprise, Tulfo was taking a video of the scene. Barreto added that the columnist started the fight and went on amok when her husband confronted him.

The actress belied the claim of Tulfo that she threatened and cursed at the stewardess. The actress added that they did not recognize the columnist and reiterated, “Hindi niyo alam kung sino ang kinakalaban niyo kaya matakot kayo.”

The arts and culture environment is nothing unfamiliar to Arts Ambassador Boy Abunda.  More than two decades back, he was witness to artistic and cultural happenings and had the opportunity to mingle with the country’s finest artists as Public Relations man to Metropolitan Theater’s Conching Sunico.

The King of Talk emphasized that his post as Arts Ambassador (specifically for the Philippine International Arts Festival 2011, the third so far) is not a Malacanang appointment but an invitation directly from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).

This year marks the celebration of the 20th National Arts Month thru a month-long fete.  The festival’s impressive lineup of activities is designed to further Philippine art and the Filipino’s regard for local arts and culture.  The celebration is organized by the NCCA Subcommission for the Arts which comprises the seven arts:  architecture, cinema, dance, literature, music, theater, and visual arts.

PIAF’s tagline is “ani ng sining” and the celebration will indeed prove to be a harvest for the arts.  Thousands of local artists and cultural workers will gather all over the Philippines for the biggest artistic celebration to date! Joining in the festivities are artists from Japan, Lithuania, Singapore, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Brunei Darussalam, Taiwan and the United Arab Emirates.  Celebrations will be all over the archipelago, with four foci:  National Capital Region, Mindanao, Visayas and Luzon.

The celebration per area will comprise workshops, exhibitions, forums, and the performances  and grand opening programs participated in by representatives of all the seven arts.  The Grand Opening Program for the NCR is slated for January 30 at Rizal Park in Manila.  For Mindanao, it will be at People’s Park in Davao City on February 6.  Visayas will have its Grand Opening Program on February 13 at the Bacolod Provincial Capitol.  And the Grand Opening Program for Luzon will be on February 20 at Burnham Park in Baguio City.  All four Grand Opening Programs will feature elaborate performances, exhibitions, and parades.

The Grand Opening Program in Manila is a day-long affair with workshops conducted by artists belonging to the seven arts kicking off the celebration.  The workshops will then be followed by a Grand Parade participated in by various marching bands and dancing contingents from all over Metro Manila, local artists, National Artists, officials, and the NCCA’s two ambassadors:  Arts Ambassador Boy Abunda and Youth Ambassador Dingdong Dantes.

The annual celebration of National Arts Month came into being with Presidential Proclamation 683 in 1991, declaring February as National Arts Month.  Since then the celebration has grown into the international artistic event that it is.  The Philippine International Arts Festival is a grand celebration of the myriad wonders of Philippine arts and culture and is a testament to the synergistic nature of the arts as it blurs form, genre, and national boundaries to create new ways of expression.

The public is invited to participate in PIAF 2011.  Given the large number of activities and locations, there is bound to be a PIAF event happening nearby.

Best Actress award ni Ai-Ai, kinu-question!

Best Actress award ni Ai-Ai

Best Actress award ni Ai-Ai

Hanggang ngayon, more than a week after the Metro Manila Filmfest awards night, ay malakas pa rin ang bulung-bulungan na kaya nanalong Best Actress si Ai-Ai delas Alas ay dahil sa ginapang ito ng Best Friend Forever niyang si Kris Aquino!  Can’t make heads or tails?
Chairman of the Board of Jurors si Edwin Lacierda na Spokesman ni Presidente Noynoy Aquino na kapatid ni Kris Aquino na BFF ni Ai-Ai.  Medyo malinaw na ang konek-connect?  Kaya nga raw nag-decline na si Kris as Best Actress nominee (for “Dalaw”) para mas may tsansang manalo si Ai-Ai (for “Tanging Ina”)!

Naghuhugas ng kamay si Lacierda.  Aniya:  “Kris had nothing to do with it.  The judges voted on the basis of each nominee’s individual performance and Ai-Ai obtained the highest score.  Her performance was well-rounded and I believe she really deserves to win!”.

In fairness to Kris, the judges and to Ai-Ai na rin, napakahusay niya sa “Tanging Ina”.

Movies, television, theater, music video, stage musical (as singer) and dancefloor (ballroom dancing).  Paborito siyang kuning aktres ng mga award-winning filmmakers like Brillante Mendoza (“Lola”), Milo Tolentino (“Si Baning, Si Maymay at ang Asong Si Bobo”), Jon Red (“Bicycle”), Richard Legaspi (“Paano Ko Sasabihin?”) and Jowee Morel (“Latak”).

Produkto si Geraldine ng Repertory Philippines, New Voice Company ni Monique Wilson, Dulaang UP at iba pang theater companies.

Graduate ng UP-Diliman Conservatory of Music (major in Voice) si Geraldine.

“Kailan ‘yong show at saan?”

“Anong show ang sinasabi mo?” sagot naman ng bading. “Mother, walang show, charot ko lang ‘yon sa katulong mong mahadera para ibigay ang phone sa ‘yo!  Hahahahaha!”

Blag!
